Ferry Publications was established in 1987 by Miles Cowsill and John Hendy and is now widely recognised as Europe's leading publisher in this specialist field producing a range of publications covering all aspects of the ever-changing ferry scene in the North Sea, English Channel, Solent, Irish Sea, Scottish, Scandinavian and Mediterranean spheres of operations. In addition to books, we also publish a quarterly ferry magazine, 'European Ferry Scene', which covers all aspects of the ferry industry in Europe and beyond. Our popular website allows the reader to purchase any of our books and pay for them online via a secure site. Where a new book is being published, interest can be expressed by forwarding an e-mail in order to be advised as and when it will be ready for distribution.

From its inception Ferry Publications Ltd has been a joint enterprise between John Hendy and Miles Cowsill. On 1st April 2007 Ferry Publications commenced to operate under the wing of Lily Publications Ltd in the Isle of Man. There is no way this will affect the nature and style of the successful Ferry Publications brand, which will continue to operate to its usual high standard.
