The book contains an overview of the Steam Packet together with each high quality picture complemented by a caption. A must for Steam Packet fans. Published 29th November 2011.
I received a copy of it as a Christmas present and have spent most of my free time just marvelling at the wonderful photos. They have really stirred the memory banks. Browsing through the many superb shots of the "classic" steamers, together with the side loaders really has taken me back to an era in the long history of the steam packet that has gone forever. Wonderful memories have truly been brought back to me with the publication of this wonderful book, it really is a gem.
